ENSEMBLE CLASSES

ENSEMBLE CLASSES ARE NOW AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS

The school now offers ensemble tuitions for instrumentalists on a first come first serve basis.

The lessons enable students to socialize in a musical context, create beauty in a nonjudgmental framework, learn to listen to more than themselves, and develop the ability to roll with spontaneous interchange.

Tuitions available in both Thai and English.

Playing with other musicians is a wonderful way to learn and to enjoy music. Chamber music playing is a collaborative learning experience which helps students enhance not only in music learning but also in social learning.

HOW IT WORKS

  • One hour lesson every two weeks (Lessons available on Saturdays 10am and 11 am)
  • Students will be matched according to levels
  • Students can be rotated to gain exposure to various forms of chamber groups
  • Each group will be encouraged to take ABRSM Ensemble exams and perform in the Robinson Annual Chamber Concert.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Primary: ABRSM Grade 4 or equivalent
Intermediate: ABRSM Grade 6 or equivalent
Advanced: ABRSM Grade 8 or equivalent

CHAMBER GROUPS

Piano Duet, String Trio, String Quartet, Piano Trio, Piano Quartet, Piano Quintet, Wind Quartet, Wind Quintet etc.
